Jordan Pickford hopes he can earn plaudits for his success with England football. As he targets success at his fourth major tournament.

The goalkeeper, who won Everton’s Player of the Season award for a third successive season in 2023-24, believes his best is yet to come UFABET

“I’ve played 61 games now, I’ve worked hard on and off the pitch. I’ve done everything I can.” Pickford said ahead of England’s Euro 2024 opener against Serbia on Sunday.

“I’m 30 now and I’m improving every day. If there’s anything I can learn. I want to do my best to improve. That’s what keeps me motivated.”

“That’s why it’s my fourth major tournament. And That’s why I’ve been Everton’s player of the year for the last three seasons.”

“I know what I’m doing and I know I’m getting better. Hopefully I’ll get the recognition and hopefully this tournament will be a success.”

The final reason why Pickford is so good for his country is his rich past. Throughout his career, Pickford has had a number of loan spells. Including with Darlington and Alfreton Town when they were both in the National League, Burton in League Two, Carlisle and Bradford in League One. And Preston in the Championship. His experience playing in smaller leagues since he was a teenager has helped him cope with the pressure. And he tends to be easy-going, understanding the abilities of his teammates.
